Delivering Qurbani Meat to Those in Need
As in every year, thanks to your generous support and donations, we work to deliver Qurbani meat to those suffering from extreme poverty in many regions around the world. Eid al-Adha is a much-anticipated occasion for people in needy areas, as they struggle to survive without the basic necessities. It is important to remember our impoverished brothers and sisters during this blessed Eid and share our sacrifices with them.
Hayat Yolu Association’s Efforts During Eid al-Adha
At Hayat Yolu Association, as in previous years, we strive to share the joy of Eid with our Muslim brothers and sisters in need. Unfortunately, this year’s Eid al-Adha comes amid significant suffering due to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. We at the Hayat Yolu Association will not leave the people of Gaza alone during Eid al-Adha, as we have supported them before Eid and will continue to do so throughout the year. We will deliver the Qurbani meat you donate to our brothers and sisters in Gaza in the safest and most secure ways through projects specifically designed for Gaza. Additionally, our teams will deliver Qurbani meat to those in need in other areas such as Jerusalem, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, Bangladesh, and Africa, bringing smiles to many faces with your support.
Methods of Implementing the Qurbani Project
Our association implements the Qurbani project in four different ways:
Fresh Qurbani Project: Animals are slaughtered in targeted areas and their meat is delivered to the needy on the first day of Eid. This way, meat is distributed to the needy throughout the days of Eid in all the countries targeted by the project.
Frozen Qurbani Project: This project will be carried out in Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan, where we deliver Qurbani meat to needy areas. This project aims to provide meat for the needy long after Eid by packing and freezing it according to international health standards and then delivering it safely via refrigerated ships.
Chilled Qurbani Meat Project: This project is specifically designed to deliver meat to Gaza due to the harsh conditions. We will slaughter the animals in Egypt, chill the meat, and send it to Gaza as fresh chilled meat due to the shortage of fresh Qurbani meat in the area caused by the war.
Canned Qurbani Meat Project: This project aims to preserve Qurbani meat for a long without spoiling it. Animals are slaughtered in India, and the meat is canned and sent to Gaza. This way, the residents of Gaza receive meat without the risk of spoilage.
Thanks to your support, we at Hayat Yolu Association have worked tirelessly for the needy in many countries and regions since our establishment. Eid al-Adha is one of the most beautiful occasions that reflect these efforts. We will be with the needy this Eid and share the joy of Eid with them.
