“In the winter, the suffering of residents in Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen significantly increases. Many families there face significant difficulties during the winter due to ongoing wars, tough economic conditions, shortages of basic supplies, infrastructure deterioration, flooded displacement camps, and a lack of healthcare, making them more susceptible to diseases and facing imminent death due to severe cold. Several deaths have indeed been reported, with the latest occurring in the city of Gaza.
Generally, the population in these afflicted countries faces significant challenges during the winter and requires urgent support to provide the necessary humanitarian assistance to cope with these difficult conditions. Therefore, at Hayat Yolu Association and thanks to your support, we are extending a helping hand through our Winter Mercy Campaign for our people in Gaza, Palestine, Syria, Yemen, and Lebanon to assist them in overcoming the hardships of winter by:
– Providing shelters for refugees and displaced persons.
– Supplying clothing and blankets for warmth.
– Distributing food parcels.
– Furnishing heating means such as heaters.”
