The Hayat Yolu Association, as it does every year, launches its major Qurbani project. This year, we aim to reach the largest possible number of needy and impoverished people around the world.
Each share of Qurbani meat will be distributed into 42 cans, each weighing 340 grams.
Also, due to the harsh conditions in the Gaza Strip and as part of our consideration for alternative methods to deliver Qurbani meat, Qurbani will be slaughtered in India during the days of Eid. The meat will then be prepared and canned for shipment to Gaza in long-lasting, usable cans. This will be greatly beneficial for them.
The wights of the shares are between 14-16 kg, and they expected to reach the beneficiaries within 45-65 days.
It’s a pioneering project that aims to serve the needy people and refugees in Gaza, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. Through this project we try as much as possible to lower the costs of sacrificing for the sacrificer and maximize the benefits for the needy. We buy livestock and slaughter Qurbani in countries where prices are relatively cheap compared to the countries of the beneficiaries. Many of the needy and refugees have meat spoilage due to its accumulation during the days of Eid al-Adha, shortly after the Eid, they return to hunger and need. In this project, we ensure that the arrival of Qurbani meat continues to the needy for multiple periods after the Eid, benefiting both the sacrificer and the needy.
Participants can choose their Qurbani either a full sheep or a cattle share in any of the countries listed in our Qurbani program. Once you select the country and type of sacrifice, the corresponding price will be displayed, as outlined in the attached tables:
