Hayat Yolu Joins International Family Fair 2025 in Ankara

Hayat Yolu Association participated in the International Family Fair 2025, held in the Turkish capital, Ankara, under the auspices of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, in cooperation with the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation. The event brought together over 40 local and international humanitarian organizations to showcase their work and deepen cross-sector collaboration.

The participation of Hayat Yolu comes amid an intensifying humanitarian crisis in Gaza, driven by ongoing conflict, displacement, and a severe blockade. During the event, the association emphasized the urgent needs of families in Gaza, particularly in the sectors of relief aid, healthcare, education, and psychosocial support.

At its official booth, Hayat Yolu presented impactful visuals and reports highlighting its field projects, with a focus on:

  • Supporting displaced families and children affected by war

  • Empowering women and youth through education and livelihood programs

  • Delivering medical and nutritional aid to vulnerable communities

The fair also served as a strategic platform for the association to hold key meetings with Turkish institutions:

  • KADEM (Women and Democracy Association): Discussions focused on the challenges facing women in Gaza and opportunities for collaboration.

  • Mehir Foundation: Its president, Mr. Mustafa Özdemir, praised Hayat Yolu’s field operations and expressed interest in expanding joint humanitarian efforts.

  • Izmir Katip Çelebi University: Professor Saffet Köse offered a signed copy of his latest book on family resilience, supporting the association’s mission.

  • Üsküdar University: Renowned psychiatrist Professor Nevzat Tarhan visited the booth and commended Hayat Yolu’s work in mental health and family support in Gaza.

These engagements reflect Hayat Yolu’s ongoing commitment to strategic partnerships with Turkish civil society to strengthen international solidarity with Gaza.

In a closing statement, Hayat Yolu emphasized:

“Events like the International Family Fair are more than exhibitions—they are humanitarian beacons. They remind the world that Gaza is not a statistic, but a people striving for dignity, stability, and hope.
