We fulfill our obligations all the time. We have completed implementing the first phase of the Winter Aid Distribution Project in the Gaza Strip, Syria and Jerusalem through our field offices and our partners in these areas. The project included distributing winter clothes to nearly a thousand children in Gaza, Jerusalem and Syria. The project also included the distribution of food parcels, which reached 350 families in Gaza. In addition to distributing in-kind items including bedding and blankets, as well as parcels contain cleaning and hygiene items, which reached 400 families in Gaza Strip.
“I was very happy when I wore the new jacket, my mother couldn’t buy a jacket for me and gave me an old jacket that belonged to my older sister, I was feeling cold every day while going to school and shy because the jacket is so big, old and worn out. Thank you for coming and bringing joy.” Asma, ten-year-old girl says.
“All our belongings in the house are wet, all our bedding, our blankets and our clothes. This time the rain did not stop for a week. The roof of the house is worn-out; we did not know how to pass these difficult days. Your help for us means a lot to us; we thank you and thank everyone who thinks of us.” Says Bothaina, she is a mother of five children living in an old house ceilled with sheet metal.
