Mr. Amir Turan Shah, the General Director of the Hayat Yolu Association, recently held a meeting with Mr. Wan Muhammed Noor, the head of the Thai Parliament, accompanied by his consultant, Mr. Arifin Al-Tarasin, and various parliamentary members.
During the meeting, Turan Shah introduced to the Thai Parliament members Hayat Yolu Association’s extensive efforts in humanitarian work, outlining the initiatives to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable communities and provide support to survivors affected by disasters and conflicts. The discussions also centered around the importance of cooperation and partnership with Thai civil society and non- governmental organizations. With the goal of making impactful contributions to international humanitarian efforts, Turan Shah highlighted the challenging conditions faced by displaced individuals in the Gaza Strip due to the ravages of war.
Wan Muhammed Noor expressed solidarity from the Thai Parliament and people with the Palestinian people, specifically in Gaza. He voiced deep concern about the humanitarian situation in Gaza and expressed hope that institutions could effectively address the needs of the region.
Concluding the meeting Turan Shah emphasized the significance of utilizing the influence and capabilities of the Thai Parliament to support the people of Gaza and mitigate the ongoing humanitarian crisis they are enduring.
